I was born and raised in Montgomery. I went to Forest Avenue Elementary School, Brewbaker Junior High, and The Montgomery Academy. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Troy State University in 1998. I began teaching at Brewbaker Primary School and then transferred to Forest Avenue Academic Magnet School in 2001. In 2005, I completed my Masters at Alabama State University. I have been married to Barry for 22 years. We have one daughter, Anna Claire, who is in 11th grade at WHS this year. We attend Mulder Church and are actively involved. I love Auburn sports, especially football and gymnastics. My favorite things to do in my free time are shop, read, run, work out, and spend time at the beach or lake. I love Chick-Fil-A and Mexican food, bottled water, Diet Dr. Pepper, peanut butter M & M's, Dairy Queen Blizzards, and Cheeze-Its.
